In Store Food Mill for Customer's Use....free of charge

Did you know we have a food mill in the store for our customers to use, free of charge?

It is said that when wheat is cracked or ground, exposing the inner elements to oxygen, the vitamins and oils are destroyed within a very short period of time. Within 24 hours, 40% or more of the nutrients have oxidized. Within 72 hours, 90% of the nutrients have been destroyed. The caloric and mineral values remain intact, but the wonderful vitamins and oils are destroyed.

Our family grinds our grains, wheat, and corn fresh, as we use them. We wanted to share that ability with our customers who are not able to purchase a food mill at this time. We have a food mill in the store that our customers may use when they purchase their grains, beans, wheats, or corns from us. Bring your own containers to transport your flours or corn meal home, or we have some available to purchase for your convenience. We hope this helps you provide more healthy options for your family!

Don't know how to use freshly ground flours or corn? Ask us! We'll be happy to share what we know and give you some recipes to start with! If it's not already obvious, we kind of enjoy our food. =)

Taking Orders for Florida Navel Oranges (not sprayed orange)

We are currently taking orders for Florida Navel Oranges.  They will arrive just before or just after Thanksgiving.  These oranges will arrive fresh from Florida and will not have been sitting in a warehouse somewhere ripening.  These oranges have not been sprayed orange like the ones you get in the stores.  As such they tend to be a healthier alternative for your families.

$13.00 for 40 lbs.

Call ahead to reserve yours.  There will not be a lot of extras for last minute orders.

Field Tomatoes - $11.00 / box (23-25 lbs per box)

We have the last of this year's field tomatoes for sale. If you didn't get enough tomatoes canned this year or want to put up some salsa, this is an excellent opportunity to do so. Each box weighs between 23 and 25 lbs. $11.00/box.
