GRILLED CORN ON COB RECIPE

GRILLED CORN RECIPE & DIRECTIONS:

While in Pennsylvania, we were served grilled corn on the cob at a friend's home. They cook outside a lot in the summer since their home is without electric and thus without air conditioning. The grilled corn was absolutely delicious so I wanted to pass on the recipe.

We pulled the corn husks back to the stalk but did not remove them. We did remove the silks as best we could. We then brushed each ear with the butter & herb mixture below. The husks were then pulled back up and tied into place with twine. They were then placed on a hot grill and rolled every 2-3 minutes for about 15-20 minutes. The results were absolutely delicious corn on the cob with a smokey flavor from the husks.

BUTTER & HERB MIXTURE (for 12 ears of corn)

1/2 cup butter

1/2 tsp marjoram

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp rosemary

1/4 tsp ground black pepper

We had to use towels to remove the husks but served the corn piping hot.
